Based upon this guidance, we will be re-opening Smiley’s Flea Market in Macon, GA this weekend, May 2 & 3, 2020. ... This weekend Smiley's will only be open for the sale and purchase of essential items. Vendors and Shoppers will have limited access to the property and only to the spaces designated for essentials. Please have patience as our vendors work to provide these necessary items to our community. A few concessions stands will also be open for take out only. Smiley's security and staff will be onsite to direct vehicles to the appropriate locations. We will limit how many people can come on the property and how many people will be able to shop at one time. Thank you for your understanding and please be safe and stay healthy.

March 24, 2020 Re: COVID-19 Update: Smiley’s Flea Market; Macon, GA Dear Smiley’s Vendors and Customers:... On Monday, March 23, 2020, Mayor Robert A.B. Reichert announced a local state of emergency for Macon-Bibb County until April 6, 2020, to help slow the spread of the Novel Coronavirus 2019, or COVID-19. That date could be extended with a further order should the need arise, and that decision will be made in consultation with healthcare and emergency response officials. This order, as we understand, directly affects Smiley’s Flea Market in Macon, GA. To be in compliance and to also curb the spread of COVID-19, Smiley’s will be closed March 24 April 6, 2020. We must all work together to stop the spread of this virus so we can return to business as usual as soon as possible. Smiley's COVID-19 Update. Dear Smiley's Vendors and Customers: As we all closely monitor the development of the COVID-19 virus, we want to inform you about what Smiley's is doing and plans to do in the near future.... Smiley's Flea Market in GA and NC will be open this weekend, March 21-22, normal business hours to provide our customers with access to the essential items provided at Smiley's. It is imperative that all vendors and customers follow the recommended precautions and guidelines set by the CDC and respective state and local authorities. Please practice social distancing and washing hands among the many other precautions recommended by the CDC. Smiley's Concessions/ Restaurants in NC will be open for take-out only. The Governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper has mandated that all restaurants close the dining areas and are only allowed to serve food by take-out service. Please continue to order from these establishments as they will be going through a difficult time and your support means more now than ever. Smiley's in GA and NC will close all amusement rides for this weekend, March 21-22. We will take this time to thoroughly disinfect and clean the ride surfaces. We will evaluate reopening the rides in the near future and keep you posted. The health and safety of our customers, vendors, and staff is of the utmost concern.
