New product in - Alabama Red Rock. $100 per cubic yard. A permanent alternative groundcover to bark or mulch, and cheaper than lava rock.

A reminder that we have returned to our normal hours of 8-5 M-F, closed weekends. As always, if I'm around, and some heads-up is given, I can meet outside of these times. The most FAQ this time of year is about sand for pools. Ours is $45 per ton. You can pickup at our place, or we deliver 2-6 tons with a delivery fee ($40 in Jasper area). A normal above ground pool usually takes 3-5 tons for a 3 inch base, depending on diameter. Happy Summer!

If you're thinking fescue seed, I'd do it soon so it can mature before the heat, its least favorite time. Otherwise, wait until fall. We will be short of wheat straw for a week or so until the first new cutting arrives, but we have plenty of lime, fertilizer, and seed, as well as the straw blankets. Come by and see us.
