Honoring Our Veterans Thank you for your service and sacrifice who served to protect the ideals of this country. "Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and women of our armed forces at home and abroad. Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord." Amen.

Break Every Chain I hear the chains falling. Wait for it, at 54 seconds, Adrian glides down the keys. He said he could literally feel the chains falling and those glides represent the chains falling. Adrian Ford our Director of Music Ministry... When I catch Adrian at the church recording, I ask him to play something inspiring, meditative or upbeat. He plays whatever is on his heart. -Paparazzi

Sunday School...ReImagined Today, together the PreK-5th graders learned that at any age, their voices matter. Our future voters learned to use their voice and that no one is too young to make a difference. Our EYC discussed the election. They learned that they can affect change in spite of who is the president.... Help them be the change by participating in the Children and Youth food drive and Christmas gift ministry.

Welcome to God's House 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died.... For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. The Word of the Lord.

Welcome Home Wisdom of Solomon 6:12-16 Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her, and is found by those who seek her.... She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her. One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty, for she will be found sitting at the gate. To fix one’s thought on her is perfect understanding, and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free rom care, because she goes about seeking those worthy of her, and she graciously appears to them in their paths, and meets them in every thought.

THANKSGIVING BASKET COLLECTION Outreach: St. Paul's Children's and Youth Thanksgiving Collection for Emmaus House November 1 14... St. Paul’s Atlanta has partnered over the years with Emmaus House, a mission of the Diocese of Middle & North Georgia, to serve the Peoplestown neighborhood (just south of downtown near Turner Stadium). We have the opportunity to partner with them again in their Thanksgiving Sides bags. They annually provide the sides for 200 families’ Thanksgiving dinners. You can help by dropping off donations of the following items. The children of the church will be participating in a socially-distanced service project to sort and bag the items. Cans of String Beans (English cut) Cans of Corn Cans of Peas Cans of Cranberry Sauce Large Bags of Stuffing Boxes of Brownie Mix Plastic Grocery bags Please use the sign up here to indicate what you are able to provide for this collection click here. In addition, if you prefer to provide funds or gift cards for the purchase of turkeys, please feel free to drop those off as well. Drop-Off Directions: Food drop-off is curbside on November 14 in the church parking lot OR you can leave your items on the doorstep of the church during office hours. For curbside drop-off, there is no need to exit your car. Pull into the parking lot and follow the directions of volunteers. Please place the items in your trunk if you can pop it open from the inside or your backseat. Please wear a mask if we will need to open the door to the car to retrieve the items. All volunteers will be wearing masks and will quickly retrieve your items and close your trunk or door. (Know that we are smiling behind our masks as we retrieve your donation!) Thank you so much for supporting the youth ministry of St. Paul’s and our partner, Emmaus House. For questions or if the electronic sign-up sheet doesn’t work for you, please contact Joy Jones at [email protected]. https://www.signupgenius.com//10c094fa9ae23a6fe3-thanksgiv

If we have love, we have everything. If we do not have love, even if we are the most powerful or wealthy person, we still live in poverty. Fr. Tim Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
