Structural Evolution 27.01.2021

On work and building things Here is an old story: A man is walking down the street and comes upon three masons working on a building. He asks the first one ‘what are you doing?’ and the mason replies ‘I’m laying bricks.’ Continuing on, he asks the second one ‘what are you doing?’ and the second mason replies ‘I’m making $25/hour.’ He walks on and asks the third mason ‘what are you doing?’ and the third mason replies ‘I’m building a cathedral to my God.’ There are many lines... of work and it is important that each person sees the higher meaning in that work. On this Labor Day, I am thinking of all of those involved in building this city including my wife, children, and employees of our small company. I hope they all appreciate what they have accomplished. I hope they see their work like the third mason sees his work building a cathedral to our God.
