Congratulations to SVA's Athlete of the Week, Isabel Calimlim!

Congratulations to Hannah Eades! Hannah was selected to participate in the Cambridge Gifted Youth Program course titled Political Economy of Post-war Britain. Hannah was also selected and awarded the CCIR Humanities Scholarship for exhibiting passion and academic interest. Hannah is a Junior at SVA and we are so proud of her and all of her hard work and dedication.

Each week we will start highlighting a faculty/staff member who is bringing excellence and positivity to the St. Vincent's Academy family. This week we are highlighting Nichols St. Louis. Nichols wears many hats at St. Vincent's. She is the Assistant Registrar, Assistant Athletic Director, JV/Varsity Volleyball Coach, and Track & Field Coach. Nichols was nominated by Diana Tuten, Athletic Director. Diana states, "On top of coaching a very competitive volleyball team, she is a... problem solver that works to make everything better." She finds efficient and creative ways to handle every task. This year she orchestrated record breaking fundraising for PINK NIGHT ($12,000!!), which supports the MaryTelfair Mammography Fund. She works every day to motivate our students to be their best and make SVA a better place. Her smile and positivity are infectious. Congratulations Nichols! You are truly a SAINT! The Upcycling Sewing Saints spent club time designing garments and accessories. During their field trip to Goodwill they searched through racks and turned up some amazing finds! Using their thrift store treasures is resulting some very creative projects!
