It was a great first day at Famous Last Words in Cumming, GA! Bonus: it’s snowing right now! The kids swam great today. They got a handful of new state cuts, got close to a few others and everybody dropped time!

SMAC had a pretty nice day a GHSA Champs at Tech yesterday! Lots of Top 10 finishes!

SMAC banquet'ish 2020 While Covid-19 made banquet plans impossible....we salvaged the moment to honor the graduating seniors before they move on to their next c...hapter. One thing is certain.....great things will come to Batman, Iron Man, and the Care Bear in this group! Amazing things happen when we come together as a team! HUGE SHOUT OUT to Gwinnett Aquatics and SWIM MACON for hosting the only meet that Georgia Swimming sanct...ioned ALL SUMMER.the 2020 VIRAL SUMMER INVITE! THANK YOU to the COACHES, ATHLETES, and PARENTS who helped make this event a success. Lots of planning, cleaning, and Covid-19 meet rules went into the preparations to provide a safe, fun, and competitive environment for these swimmers to race. Folks, the new normal is truly a labor of love when you consider a 1 page heat sheet session now takes almost 2 hours to ensure enough separation between heats and socially distanced athletes within each event. The swimmers were AWESOME and very aware of the requirements to participate in the 1st ever Covid-19 regulated meet! It feels good to be back in the water :))) THANKS to EVERYONE involved for doing their part to move forward! Swim fast & stay safe!

Good evening, there will be no Bronze practice tonight bc of Thunderstorms at Northside. We will have a joint Bronze practice for both pods tomorrow at 5:30pm. We will also race our virtual meet then for both groups. This has been a rough week with multiple practice cancellations because of weather. Hopefully next week will be better!
