Team 3 After School Program and Camps

Last night at our Summer Camp Staff kick-off training after introductions the the instructor said something that made me say Thank you Jesus and made me extremely proud. This is the first time in a LONG time that I’ve been in a room with THIS many professionals in the this field who are working in childcare because they want to be in it and have a passion or credentials for it. (I abbreviated some of that) She said that it was refreshing to hear the introductions of my su...mmer staff. We are blessed this summer with: A certified teacher who started her teaching career with me in 2017 as an after school teacher then went on to become certified and now teaches in Henry county. A teacher with over 30 years of experience with her masters in early childhood education A student who has her associates from GA State and is completing her bachelors in elementary education A senior at GA Southern who is completing her degree in the fall for secondary biology education A student at GA State working on her bachelors as a child psychologist An experienced tutor from another after school program in Alpharetta An assistant director with a bachelors in psychology and who has over 20 years of experience of working with families and children with United Way and social work A teacher relocating from NC who works with students in their public schools who have fallen behind in math and reading and works with their Pull Out program to get them caught up and back on track An administrative assistant who’s been with Team 3 ASP since we opened the doors and knows this business like the back of her hand and who can run this business like it’s her very own When I say God has been good and showed out with this group DESPITE the hiring shortages and challengesHe has sent me and my parents/students the Cream of the Crop and this will be a VERY blessed summer. Why? Because they WANT to be here because each one of these individuals LOVE CHILDREN!
