Hi folks. I hope this email finds everyone safe and happy. As we know this is a struggling time for our friends in the restaurant business. Locally, here in Milton, GA I have two great friends who own restaurants, Bobby Gray Bobby G's Chicago Eatery and Doreen Fortey Doster at 'cue both on highway 9. EVERY year and throughout the year they both step up to support Cure NF with Jack. My family supports them and has for years because simply the food, service and atmosphere is... top notch. What I am asking here is that if your family decides to do curbside or take out over the next few days or weeks PLEASE consider these two great people and their staffs. Grab something to go and maybe buy a few gift cards for future use?! Neither of them asked me to write this but I know they BOTH would appreciate the patronage. If you want to hear stories about phenomenal local businesses who support the community I've got a few for you about these folks. THANKS for the consideration. See more

It is with great disappointment but out of concern for our players, volunteers, staff and the overall community we need to POSTPONE the Tradition. We are disappointed but know this is the right thing to do. We will be moving to June 19th (Friday) and celebrating St. Patrick in June and killing tumors!! This year (2019) St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Sunday, but never fear ... Rule #2 of the not so Ancient Laws of The TRADITION states that: If for some reason the event cannot be played on St. Patrick’s Day, or the 17th falls on a weekend we won’t fuck it up, we will still play during the work week. The 2019 TRADITION shall be played on Monday, March 18!... PLAN AHEAD!!! See more

A fun time had by all!

Another TRADITION has come and gone... all we can say is EPIC EVENT! The weather was spectacular, the company was amazing. We blew past every projection and raised a ton of dough for children's cancer research. Thanks again to the players, the sponsors, the volunteers, the talent, the caterers, the beer brewers, the golf club staff, friends, family and to all of you who continue to make the event what it has become. NOBODY is more critical to our message of Awareness=Dollars=Cure than our Co-Founder of Cure NF with Jack, Jack Burke. He puts himself out there time and again in print, TV, events and social media NOT for himself but for the entire NF community. Less than two weeks, kids!

Now the real fun begins... we had 216 player slots. Those are now spoken for... Of those player 216 slots, we have 103 names, 93 shirt sizes and 89 email addresses. We have 26 volunteers, all of their email addresses and 25 shirt sizes. 400 plastic stadium cups are already here... everything else is ordered and boxes of shirts, hats, cigars, hickory putters, major awards and other swag too controversial to mention will start piling up shortly. We're still waiting on five figures worth of checks. The spread sheet is very large, my friends... and changing daily!

Ladies and Gentlemen (and the rest of you...) The TRADITION is officially SOLD OUT for golf. This doesn't mean you can't still join us... you can still donate $50 as a "Friend of Jack", and that entitles you to all the breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything else you might wish to consume. Come join us on March 17 and let's find a cure for children's cancer.
