Good morning everyone, we know we don’t owe any explanation or have to defend our business. But, we just prefer to keep everyone in the loop... As we’ve always said, we’re a community business! No matter how much as business owners we tell ourselves there’s going to be some not so good reviews at times. We can never accept that because it feels personal and accepting that is like lowering our standards. We want to thank everyone for your kind words and reviews, they were literally rolling in past midnight and still rolling in today. We didn’t know we had our own little Cake ‘n Shake army. Our employees can see every kind message that you all wrote, you all are truly amazing and a blessing to this . We thank you and appreciate you!

Normally we don’t let things get to us and we keep pushing forward. But, as a family and when I say family I mean our employees too because they’re family. We will protect them and their hard working efforts. Tonight this review was left on Yelp, our employee was uncomfortable at the time and was worried that a customer was snapping pictures of them. The customer never expressed any frustrations and immediately started taking pictures, we would’ve did anything in our power to... make it right or provide clarity. Everyone knows we pride ourselves on customer service and cleanliness. What bothered our employees so much, first off she doesn’t have a face tattoo and if she did that doesn’t matter either. Secondly our employee held the door open welcoming them in and later for us to go over this review with them really got them down. (We go over every single review with our team). We understand we can’t please everyone, but we sure do try and it’s an everyday goal. As owners we’re writing this because we know our Cake ‘n Shake fans will show up with some positive vibes and I’ll be showing every single comment to our team as they come in to show that there’s so much more good than bad. Our values are high, our pride is strong and our service isn’t to be undervalued. You all know we’re an open book business and we thank you for listening and for any words of encouragement for our staff.... They are not use to 1 star reviews.
