Due to a local spike in positive COVID cases, the Lumpkin County School System has just announced that they willl delay the return of face-to-face instruction until Tuesday, January 19. All students are expected to attend virtual school starting January 7. "We are in this together," said Dr. Rob Brown in a robocall to parents and teachers.
