Having a good attorney is so important. Ms. Hull just completed a consultation with a very anxious couple that was ready to get a divorce as they have been "stuck" in the process for 11 years. Congratulations to our client on our recent win against her son's school district! When our client retained Ms. Hull, the District was preparing to expel her son and had referred him to the juvenile court for behaviors that were a manifestation of his disability. However, Ms. Hull successfully defended the student in the school disciplinary hearing and was able to have the juvenile charges dismissed. Further, Ms. Hull filed a Formal Complaint against the District and the chi...ld was awarded compensatory education services and the District was ordered to revise its policies regarding IEP implementation and discipline, and required to train the school administrators and teachers on these new policies! Congratulations to our client on receiving an Individualized Education Program that meets his daughter's needs! When our client retained Ms. Hull, the District was preparing to move the child into a self contained classroom. However, Ms. Hull was able to make the District update the child's IEP to deliver the appropriate services to her in the general education setting, pay for the child to receive a private tutoring program, and an award of attorney's fees for the client! #SpecialEducation #HullFirm #WinningWednesdays
