After almost 6 years and with much gratitude and a bittersweet feeling in my heart, I will be closing my brick and mortar The Pink Flamingo at the end of the month. Our last day to shop in store will be Saturday, June 27, so come on in and get it while you can! This decision was not made lightly and involved much prayer and counsel. After over 12 years of infertility and loss we were blessed to have a baby girl in the Fall of last year. Between so much uncertainty in t...he world, having a baby, navigating ongoing health issues and owning another business, we could not in good conscience renew another 5 year lease. While I am sad and a little heartbroken to close this chapter of my professional life I am also excited and grateful to be able to focus on my family and be with my daughter full time. I’ve dreamed my whole life of being a Mama and I don’t want to miss a second. I hope all of you can understand and respect our decision. I owe each of you the deepest THANK YOU to my employees and customers for following along, supporting my dream and business and allowing me to be a special part of your lives. You have changed my life for the better and I cherish each memory and relationship formed throughout this endeavor. You have blessed me beyond measure.
