This is my mother and father! They have been married for 57 years on June 30! They have seen the face of racism come in so many forms. From not being able to ap...ply for apartments together because they would be denied to being asked to be apart of a circus freak show because of the color of me and my siblings. Through all the challenges they have faced they have always let the love shine through. They have taught us to love and not to hate anyone regardless of skin, nationality or income. That love comes from the faith they have in the Bible and knowing that one day all the wrongs and hurt we have and feel will be a thing of the past. We all look forward to that day. See more

COVID-19 Update At this time, there are two confirmed cases in Georgia. Both cases are in the Atlanta area. To prevent the spread of incomplete or inaccurate information, we encourage Georgians to rely on guidance from the CDC, the DPH, and my office. We will continue to provide regular updates to keep the public informed and ensure the health and safety of families across our state, said Governor Brian Kemp.... The risk of COVID-19 to the general public remains low at this time. All Georgians should follow basic prevention measures for any respiratory illness, including: Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. If you have recently traveled to areas where there are ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 and develop fever with cough and shortness of breath within 14 days of your travel, or if you have had contact with someone who is suspected to have COVID-19, stay home and call your health care provider right away. Be sure to call before going to a doctor’s office, emergency room, or urgent care center and tell them about your recent travel and your symptoms. It was very exciting to see these two kids together. Afterwards, Donald Trump, who was at least half-human back then, provided limousines to take everyone to Atlantic City for an after-party. On January 27, it was announced that the late superstar will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame alongside the class of 2020 which also will include Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.......... Following the January 21 opening of the Roundabout Theatre Company's A Soldier's Play at the American Airlines Theater in the Big Apple, the show's Tony-award winning director Kenny Leon, hopped on a plane and jetted out to Hollywood for the African American Films Critics Association Awards where Darla Turner, Manager of Corporate Communications at Nissan North America, gave him the Innovator Award presented by Nissan. The star-studded audience at the Taglyan Complex included Jamie Foxx, Jordan Peele, Lena Waithe, Issa Raye, Tichina Arnold, Garcelle Beauvais and the Godfather of Hollywood, Clarence Avant........... Lizzo and Lil Nas X celebrated their multiple Grammy wins in a fun way, according to reports. The curvaceous cutie changed out of her old school Hollywood glamour Oscar attire into a zebra print dress and blue booties to celebrate at her very own Grammy After party at the Crazy Girl Strip Club on January 26 in Hollywood, California.
