Did you know that the idea of All Saints' Day was initially conceived by Pope Boniface IV, who consecrated the Pantheon at Rome to the Virgin Mary and all the Martyrs of the Church back on May 13 in the year 609 AD? The Holy Day itself was eventually established on November 1st by Pope Gregory III in the middle of the 8th Century as a day dedicated to the Saints and their relics. Catholics celebrate all those who have entered heaven, including Saints who ...are recognized by the Church and those who are not. We have not recieved an estimate on when we will be back up and running yet. We pray for the safety of all those emergency crews working hard to restore power and clean up damage across the state.
