Hi everyone, I just got word that the hospital can accept our donations again. I am copying our facemask members in case we have some interested in helping. If you get this twice, it is because you are a member of both groups, and I apologize for that. It is not easy going through this many names and cross checking who is on the list twice. Most needed items:... 1) crocheted octopus. I have a few on hand that I will send but I need some for the NICU. I have quite a few for the sick babies on the Ped. Floor. 2) sleepy vests. I have some that I can take, but they go through these pretty quickly and they have exhausted their stock. 3) Billi light curtains. Shirley, you have made these in the past. Photos attached for reference. I am awaiting measurements for the straps. I have the measurements for the squares. I can help with these. 4) snuggle nests. These are the padded beds with straps that are wrapped around the infants. Shirley, you have made these too. They need the 19" ones. I can help with these. I also have plenty of blankets and hats right now, so please hold on those. I will be taking quite a few when I make a delivery soon. I have a daughter getting married in less than two weeks, so I will be sporadic on just about everything until after that! LOL But I will at least start on some billi curtains. If you are interested in sewing, this is one of the easiest items to make. But I have been missing these babies and the nurses and am so very excited that we can begin to supply them with items again. I would also like to begin thinking about resuming our monthly meetings. Please let me have your thoughts on that. I hope you are as excited as I am that we are able to help our babies and our sick kids!! Woohoo!! Angela
