Wow the late night bar menu has been a big success. Stop by Friday and Saturday night. The kitchen is open until 1am or 2am all depends on you. Tic Toc Room ...is serving the best late night food in downtown. Whether you try our barnyard burger, cornbread dusted fish and chips, our highly talked about prospector's pizza pie, Florida Georgia line wings or fried shrimp po'boy, Tic Toc Room has what you crave after a night out downtown. First of all, we at Tic Toc Room want to thank everyone who has reached out in support and thanking us for our transparency. All of us were a little surprised ...at the comments since we would never put money and profits in front of the public’s health. We all need to work together to stop this evil disease and get back to some sort of normal. In keeping with transparency, two of our employees have tested positive for Covid-19. We have contacted the health department to inform them of the situation. We have also contacted every staff member who has come into contact with these two employees to inform them of their exposure. We have had two staff members tested on July 1st and three more will be tested July 2nd. Once we have all of the exposed staff members tested and we have their results we will have more details of when and how we will be re-opening. There have been many comments we have seen on Facebook and other social media outlets calling out restaurants for not being transparent. In fact, some have gotten positive results of their employees and have not closed or re-sanitized their establishments. We at Tic Toc Room have been in contact with some commissioners here in Macon so we as a food service industry can come together and help stop the spread of Covid-19. There should be guidelines for all of the industry to be transparent and do what is right for our community. Tic Toc Room and its management will never risk public safety. We have always considered that our primary concern. Until we are sure that our restaurant will not cause any further spread of this disease, we will not open our doors. We are confident that our future is bright and the legacy of Ms. Ann will continue for years to come. From our family at Tic Toc Room to yours, we pray you are all safe and healthy thru this difficult time. Our patron’s health and safety are always our foremost... concern. Although Governor Kemp has decided to reopen some businesses in Georgia, we at Tic Toc Room have made the difficult decision to remain closed. At this time we do not believe it to be safe and responsible to reopen. As we monitor the data and statistic across the nation, this information will be used to determine when it will be in the public's best interest to resume serving our community. In the meantime, we have not been sitting around. Tic Toc Room remains committed to our vision of a self-sustainable farm to table restaurant. We have been working hard planting fields, getting new fields ready to plant and continuing to grow our herds at our farm here in Macon, Tic Toc Room at Galloway Place. We have also been very busy refreshing and updating the interior of the restaurant. Please check up on us over the next several weeks as we look forward to posting more news and announcing our upcoming reopening.
