Chattanooga Police Department When kindness is authentic, it demonstrates true consideration for others. One of the responding officers did take the family to their residence. Linda D. Hisey Yesterday I saw a very heartwarming event... here's the story (from my office window anyway) .... there was an accident, nothing big, but it was cold and even spitting snow. I don't know what happened to the other driver, but this family obviously couldn't drive their car, it was towed. ... They had a small baby and apparently had just come from the grocery store. After the reports were written up, firetruck and ambulance left, these two Chattanooga Police officers helped the family get their groceries in the trunk of the police car and apparently took them home.... the heartwarming side was that the baby was sitting in it's car seat on the sidewalk and I saw the male police officer go over and pull the cover up on the car seat to make sure the baby stayed dry! The female officer put the baby in the back seat if the police car and made sure the car seat was correctly fastened.... both with smiles on their faces. Nobody wants to have a wreck but if these two of CPD finest are there to assist you can know they are there with compassion! Salute to the Chattanooga Police Department! Back the Blue! See more

Gallatin Police Department This young man's bicycle was stolen yesterday. As luck would have it a bicycle matching the exact description of the stolen bicycle was donated just a few days prior. Officer Higgins presented the new bicycle to the child today. Without the community's donations this would not have been possible. Thank you to everyone who donates throughout the year.

Nolensville Police Department Greetings from NPD Citizens Police Academy, Graduation Night. The first part of the evening we heard from Judge Taylor and A.D.A. Chris Vernon. We were so interested in what they had to say we forgot to take pictures. Our graduating class, well what can we say... Loved this group. They hung with us throughout the chaos of the covid protocols. The masks were neccessary in the group shot but dislike that they hide the smiles. ... Relationships were formed in this class that we hope will carry forward into the community as a whole. Looking forward to an alumni bbq this summer! NPD staff are already talking about having two sessions a year instead of just one. Thank you and Congratulations, " Covid Class", Session 20-1. You are now a part of the NPD family. A special Thank You to our guest speakers and NPD Team for a great job in making the CPA a success. See more
