I had the pleasure of working with a customer named Billy Drake today, and although he doesn't have a Facebook, he said I could share his experience. (Warning: this post is kind of long) I began working with Billy about a week ago after he found us online and reached out for more information. At first, he seemed a little skeptical of dealerships and didn't even give me his last name. As we got to talking, he let me know he lived in Rockmart (an hour and 15-30 minutes away) an...d that he had 2 vehicles he'd like to trade in for his now '04 Dodge Dakota. We had to finish getting the vehicle checked through service and ready but he was patient with me. He came today to look at the vehicle. He brought one of his trades and worked with sales professional Alex Salises who showed him the vehicle, let him test drive it, and coveted all the details. We were able to reach an agreement, and I had the pleasure of riding with him to his house to pick up his other vehicle, the smart car as pictured below. On the hour and a half drive to rockmart he talked about all the cars he's owned, all the places he's been, and made sure I always remembered to talk to my parents because they won't be around forever. It truly was great getting to know him! As soon as I brought the trade back to the dealership most of the sales team greeted me and all wanted to check out the smart car we had just took in on a trade from Billy as its a vehicle we don't see everyday. In closing, I am truly thankful for our customers and experiences such as I had today!
