Don't lose sight of WHY it's important to do core exercises. Core strength is vital in all we do - walking, bending over, supporting us when we fall, picking things up, setting things down, posture, etc. If you're doing core exercises in hopes of washboard abs, keep working hard and eat perfect, but don't forget to think in terms of longevity. Great core strength is one key component in a long and healthy life. We recommend core strength exercises 6 to 7 days a week for no less than 5 minutes each day.
What is your latest accomplishment on your 2015 health & fitness goals?
Want a good CORE workout? Put 5 minutes (to start with) on your countdown clock and choose reps of 5, 10, 15, or 20 (the lower the reps, the more difficult). Push start and alternate core exercises using the reps you chose. No rest - alternate exercises quickly. Give it a try and let us know how it went!

I definitely have worse pet peeves, but it's such a statement to yourself if you don't or won't rack your weights (properly). Strive for excellence in all you do, right? Encourage someone today in their excellence.

I (Colby) am back in Nicaragua for two weeks. Now that I'm feeling a bit better, I figured that I would try something new... Send me a workout and I'll try it while I'm here. (Just remember that I'm just starting back.) What I have: 40lb resistance band with a lot of room to be creative.
