Hello all! Tuckston Youth and Tuckston Kids are joining forces with Athens MLK Day of Service this upcoming Monday, January the 18th! The plan is for all Youth to be at one work site and all Kids and parents of Kids to be at another! As you can see from the picture, there will BE NO REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT so each individual youth or kid must register on their own before the event! If you know you want to participate, I would recommend registering TODAY as the spot...s are really filling up fast. Once you have done that, you also must find a way to get to the worksite you sign up for by following the directions in that registration. Both projects start at 9am and last until 2pm for Kids and 3pm for Youth. Read the registration pages for more details. Here are the registrations. All set up for Drive Thru Trunk or Treat! Come by and see us until 6 PM.

We invite you to join us tomorrow (remember: this is a *drive-thru* event with no walking, masks are required, and social distancing will be adhered to). Reminder that our drive-by going away reception for Victoria Grubbs (Murphy), will be alongside the Trunk-or-Treat from 4-6 pm. There will be a separate drive-thru should you want to circumnavigate the event and simply say hello to Victoria. *This event will take place in our main parking lot.*

As most of you are aware, our Director of Youth and Student Ministries, Victoria Grubbs (Murphy), will be leaving us at the end of October. This Saturday we will have a drive-by going away reception for her from 4:00-6:00 P.M. I hope that you will come by to wish Victoria farewell and bring her a card or going away gift , if you wish to give. I look forward to seeing each of you as we express our appreciation to Victoria. Dear Tuckston Family: The Tuckston COVID-19 task force met last evening to discuss this Sunday’s service. Previous indications had been that the virus was declining in our community but this decline has plateaued; we remain in a Code Orange status. Though we had a goal to return indoor worship this week conditions in our community do not allow for that. Therefore, in keeping with our previously announced policy, this Sunday we will worship at 11:00 am in our parking lot wi...th an online offering at 9:00 am. While we regret being unable to return to in person worship this week, we pray to do so soon, possibly as early as next Sunday. We hope that you will join us this Sunday. The weather forecast this Sunday promises a beautiful morning and let us spend a part of it worship God with his people. Please know that your leadership is considering the health and welfare of all of our members. We ask for your continued prayers and support as we seek to do God’s will in this time. John
