Good Morning! We just had a really nice surprise visit with Paul Milliken from Fox 5 Good Day Atlanta. Paul and Tim were shooting a segment 2 stores down from us at the Made Mercantile and stopped by when they completed the segments. Paul brought us by three Clue Games which are just fabulous. I remember, but how many of you played Clue growing up? When it was raining out came our board games and Clue was one of them. Stop by our store for a chance to purchase not only a Super Rare Collectible but it was owned by the Famous Personality of Stage, Screen and TV, Paul Milliken. (Well maybe I was pushing a little on the 1st two).. But Everybody in the world.... (of Atlanta) .. Knows Paul Milliken from Good Day Atlanta.. It's always great seeing Paul and Tim..

Hey Y'all. I want to reach out and say a huge Thank You to all of you from Ann and Myself. Since I posted about all the negativity we have seen associated with that .1% of people who just feel better berating others we have seen so much support, love and compassion that we are humbled by it all. We were so ready to just throw in the towel with struggling to keep the store open and then adding that negativity on top of it we thought it was time to ask ourselves is it time to call it a day. All of our friends here showed us that we need to get through all the BS and keep the store going. A huge thank you to each and everyone of you for the kind posts and reviews. Y'all mean the world to us.

This is a long read so grab a drink.. Hey my friends out there I want to ask for your help. We don't know what's going on but we are seeing a rise in people who are coming in with either a chip on their shoulder or are just trying to be mean and nasty to local merchants expecting their rear ends to be kissed. We are getting bad reviews on Google Maps because of a number of reasons that we don't agree with and frankly can't do anything about them. If we don't contribute to the...ir Little League or PTA we get a nasty 1 Star Review which just says we are Rude. We get those who come in thinking they can offer lowball prices and if we don't take them we are also rude and get another 1 star review. The list goes on and on. If I don't move fast enough or I make a grunt or sound when I get up from my chair from the pain then we are accused of not caring to help them or moving fast enough even though I am disabled. We just had a lady go into the back and start opening boxes of items I just bought even though I had a sign on them that they are not ready to sell. I politely went back and told her I just bought these boxes and they aren't for sale yet. Dang if we didn't get an "Owner Rude" 1 star Post an hour later. Everyone who comes in knows I care about our store and our customers so much. Without our customers we would be closed. I'm asking if and that's a big if that you have been in and feel that we deserve a 5 star feel back on google Maps to please leave one for us. In these tough times we are doing everything possible to stay open and maintain a good image but are just dumbfounded at how rude and nasty people are to merchants. I'm just about done... With Christmas and New Years in the rear view we are focusing on getting more stock for our store. We need Main Stream and Classic Rock Record Albums along with Heavy Metal plus those Big Hair Bands of the 80's. We pay cash for your used records so bring in your albums that have been sitting in storage.. We are stocking and have many shipments arriving this week of Funko Pops and Pokemon Cards. These two items are screaming hot and it's hard to keep them in stock. Be sure to stop by if you collect them to see what we are getting in.

Well 2020 is over and we look forward to 2021 for so many things including a brighter future for us all. For one we will celebrate our store The Wright Stuff Records & Collectibles being open for 10 years. That's an amazing feat since we have seen so many businesses come and go in that time. There's so many that we miss dearly but still hear from them from time to time. Downtown Woodstock has changed so much since we opened the doors in 2011. We have seen so many kids grow up... in that time and have made so many friends that we are so grateful for. We have seen the need to change and adjust our business during those 10 years but am Thankful to God and our Customers for the support through the good times and the lean times. As we start looking forward to 2021 we need to focus on what will help improve our business. Our purchasing and selling focus are going to adjust as they have ever since we opened our doors so let us know what you would like to see us carry after all you keep us in business and without all of you we would be out of business. Hey Y'all we want to let the Mother and Daughter who purchased a record here at our store last Saturday the 17th that it was found and turned into us. One of our Woodstock Engineers found it where you must have mistakenly left it and brought it to us. Just come by and either identify it or show us the credit card you used to purchase it so we can reunite it with you.

Hey Y'all, I just wanted to reach out and thank all of you who took advantage of our inventory clearance sale we had going on for the past month. We have so much more merchandise to bring in and this gave us the room to do so. No, we are not closing but when we went to storage and when we saw all the boxes we still have to bring in, it was time to do something a little crazy. Now we are heading into full blown stocking our store for Christmas. Do you realize it's only 2 months and 5 days until Christmas Day. Don't panic yet but it's going to be here quicker that you know. We are stocking the store daily with more merchandise so stop by to see what we have found to bring in.

We got a surprise Saturday with a visit from my old friend Bill Dillion and his Wife Barb. I haven't see Bill since we moved to Georgia over 13 years ago so it was great to get caught up. We both use to set up at shows up north for many years. Funny how the collecting bug never goes away. Bill and Barb, it was awesome seeing you both.

Woo Hoo!! We are back to our regular store hours! We are in need of Classic Rock and Heavy Metal Record Albums. We pay cash for your gently used Vinyl Record Albums. It's 2.5 Months until Christmas so it's time to start getting those Wish Lists together and it's never to early to start shopping. We are back open today with normal hours. Monday to Saturday 11 am until 7 pm. and Sunday 11 am until 5 pm.
