For 30 years, John Crawfish Crawford has regaled campers and schoolchildren on field trips to the UGA Aquarium, guiding them on nature walks through the salt marsh and introducing them to the many creatures that call coastal Georgia home.

Today, we are commemorating the 60th anniversary of desegregation and honoring those who broke down barriers and transformed UGA: Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Hamilton Holmes.

Josh Brooks has been named J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics at the University of Georgia. Brooks will become UGA's 12th athletic director, following the retirement of Greg McGarity, who held the position for 10 years.
