Had a great visit this morning with Greg Smith at 7 G's Farm in Nicholson. Our ANR intern, Bill Taylor, caught up with Greg to learn more about how he produces these trees. This 25 acre farm boasts over 6,000 trees with varieties ranging from Leyland cypress to Carolina sapphire. A member of the Georgia Christmas Tree Association, this farm is a popular agritourism spot! #GeorgiaGrown #JacksonCounty

Make summer watermelon pizza with berries, bananas, mint, kiwi, nuts, bananas, yogurt, or chocolate chips. Cut a thick slice off of the watermelon’s side, abo...ut 2-3 inches thick. The circle of watermelon will look like a pizza crust. Next, spread vanilla or coconut yogurt across the red part of the watermelon to serve as your sauce. Then, add whatever toppings you like. A Georgia 4-H virtual series has already reached 217,900 youth and adults throughout the state. Using a dynamic combination of in-person and virtual learning experiences, environmental education program coordinators are blazing new trails.
