Congratulations to Dr. Liza Stepanova for being named Musical America Worldwide's New Artist of the Month! Dr. Stepanova's latest solo album, E Pluribus Unum, has garnered attention, both nationally and internationally. If you're on campus, you can head over to Lake Herrick to listen to the Trombone Quartet at 12:30 today! Six feet of social distancing is required. Although this is an outdoor event, the use of face coverings is strongly encouraged. You can also tune-in on Facebook Live via their page to listen virtually!

UPDATE: Deadline extended to November 1st. The Atlanta Student Chapter of the AES (Audio Engineering Society) is having a composition contest which is open to all ages and Georgia residents. AES Atlanta is calling for submissions of original music created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
