2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 "God is Faithful " The church at Thessalonica was a giving and loving church that was reaching out but it was also a church that had troubles both without and within the body. Paul writes to encourage them to persevere in the face of their trials. The believers at Thessalonica needed a word of encouragement. Paul reminds them that God is faithful. We too have had trouble and trials but as we are in the last month of the year, know that God is faithful.... He is faithful in His 1. Person-God is the I Am of the Old Testament and the Amen of the New Testament. You can depend on God. 2. Promises- Paul says God will "stablish" them. He will strengthen them nd cause them to become consistent in their lives and settled in their minds. God will guard and guide. 3. Performance- God does what He declares in His word. Friends, family, funds, and feelings will fail but God will never fail. Think about how God has been faithful in your life. See more
