Not because we couldn’t afford things, but because I learned the value of a dollar young. I realized that just because it isn’t new doesn’t mean it devalues the quality! If you can get the SAME PRODUCT at a cheaper price, wouldn’t you rather do that?! I would!! Still to this day places like @uptowncheapskate are m...y fav to shop and if you know me, I always say, I’m ballin’ on a budget! I have no shame that I buy second hand. The thrill of finding something at a thrift store with its og tags on but it’s at its thrifted price is like no other! I can’t be the only one right?!?!? It’s crazy to me that the place I relied on most for my favorite fashion pieces in high school, I now get the opportunity to model for and spread inclusion, Joy, and fashion!! I truly believe this will never get old for me.
