Uptowns Favorite Friday Featuring UPTOWN FLOAT Uptown Float has been a part of our Uptown community since 2018 and is located on 11th Street. At Uptown Float, we offer the ultimate tool for relaxation. We have 3 custom float chambers that are 8x4 ft wide and 8 ft tall. You are in control of your float room at all times. You can leave the door open if you like and you have control of the lights and stars. Each float chamber is in its own private room with a shower and dre...ssing area. Each float chamber is filled with 10 inches of water, 1000lbs of Epsom salt, and the water is heated to the average skin surface temperature. While floating in the darkness and silence, you will begin to no longer feel the water since it is the same temperature as the skin giving the sensation of floating in space. We chose Uptown because of the atmosphere as well as the heavy presence of health and wellness activities and shops. We have SEVERAL customers that come to Uptown Float from over 2 hours away and we wanted a place where customers could leave and be able to enjoy the surroundings. 2021 Market Days Application Available TODAY through February 27th! The 2021 Market Day Season will run from March to November. Market Days features over 200 regional vendors selling everything from homemade breads and pastries to homegrown products, including local and organic produce, home goods, jewelry, crafts and eclectic gifts and clothing. Products from participating vendors must be home grown or handmade.... Please answer ALL applicable questions on the application. All applications are subject to availability. If we reach capacity prior to that date, we will take the applications that have been completed and have payments processed at that time. Incomplete applications or non-processed payments will not be included. After the application has been approved, payments of $150 must be either mailed or dropped off at the Uptown office by no later than February 27th. We only accept cash or check.
