Our October meeting is coming up fast! Wow this semester is racing by!!! The October meeting will be a joint meeting with @uwgaslclub . Mark your calendars now! As always, the Zoom link will be in our bio! We have an exciting guest speaker lined up - Andrea Kemp from the Georgia Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (GATEDP). There will be a time set aside for QA at the end. What is GATEDP??... The Georgia Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program (GATEDP) is a program enacted by the Georgia Legislature that provides, subject to eligibility requirements, specialized telecommunications equipment to Georgia residents with physical impairments, such as hearing and speech, that prevent them from using ordinary telephones. This program is managed by the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC). The PSC contracts with a distribution agency to administer the program. The PSC has selected the Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired, Inc. (GACHI) as the GATEDP distribution agency.

The options are limitless! We look forward to see all of your spooky Halloween creativity! ... You will have from October 1st to October 30th to post and tag National NSSLHA ( @national_nsslha), ASHA ( @ashaweb), and UWG NSSLHA. We will be reposting them on Halloween and the post with the most likes will be our winner! You will receive 2 points for posting and the winner will receive an extra 1 point.
