Brethren, This week, Bros. Jim Nichols and David Sullivan were involved in a bad car wreck. In the car with them was David's wife Prissi. David was beat up some, but received no major injuries. Jim is in Grady and has undergone surgery to repair a broken pelvis. Prissi sustained major injuries that included internal and brain injuries. We learned last night that Prissi was taken off of life support and has passed.... Please remember David and Jim in your prayers and pass the information to the others who are not on the email list. As info, the Carroll County Masonic Convention has been cancelled.

Brethren: The Ruling from the Grand Master to cancel meetings has been extended through the end of May.

Brethren: Effective immediately, Most Worshipful Brother Johnie M. Garmon, Grand Master over all Masons in Georgia, has ordered the suspension of all Masonic meetings, activities, and functions within the State of Georgia until April 30th, 2020. Brethren: In accordance with GA Masonic Code 23-109 the Worshipful Master is exercising his authority to adjourn tonight’s scheduled Regular Communication prior to our meeting. While the original plan was to have a small group meet briefly to open and close, because of the proximity of confirmed cases of COVID-19 disease to our Lodge, the Worshipful Master is taking action to ensure that no contact is necessary.... Stay home and stay safe.

Brethren, To align our lodge with the precautions taking place across the country, I will be suspending business during our March 23rd regular communications.... To meet the minimum requirements of the Grand Lodge of Georgia, the Junior Warden, the Senior Deacon, and I will meet at 7:30pm to open and close the lodge. Dinner will not be served and no business will be brought before the lodge. The door will be open to any who wish to attend. Also, any practices or lodge functions will be suspended until further notice. As of now, we are planning to resume normal operation the first meeting in April.
