The only bird that will peck at a Eagle is the crow. He sits on his back and bites his neck. The eagle does not respond or fight with the crow it doesn't waste time or energy on the crow It simply opens its wings and begins to rise higher in the sky .The higher the flight the harder it is for the crow to breathe and then the crow falls due to lack of oxygen. Throughout the virtual learning model, school meals will be available to SCCPSS students remotely and will be provided at designated bus stops at designated times. Families coming to meal service locations are asked to do their part to slow the spread of COVID-19 - make sure to wear a mask and adhere to socially distance guidelines while waiting in line. Starting Monday, August 31st, Meals will be delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Did you know SCCPSS families who receive free/reduced lunch must reapply each year to maintain their recipient status? Prior year meal status will expire on September 30, 2020. Parents can apply online by going to: myschoolapps.com. Paper applications are available at the Application Center located at 3609 Hopkins Street, Savannah, GA, 31404 by appointment @ 912-395-1066.

Just a reminder Eagle Families! Wednesdays are Independent Learning Days! Complete those assignments from your teachers and work on activities in It's Learning. All WCES staff will be working from home on Wednesdays for deep cleaning and disinfecting of the building

Eagles, we are ready to start the 20-21 school year! We know this is not how we envisioned this year to start, but our teachers are excited and yes, a little nervous about our new way of beginning. As pioneers on this new adventure in learning, we know it won’t always be easy, but together we are stronger and can make it through this journey.
