The team at Watercrest Newnan took their residents on a trip back in time, landing in the 1950’s and celebrating with a Rock-n-Sock Hop Party! The team transformed the activities room into a 50’s themed Soda Shoppe serving Ice Cream Floats and Sundaes, with special guests adorably decked out poodle skirts and staff donning white and red striped classic ice cream parlor hats reminiscent of the famous era. Residents rocked around the clock with cool tunes performed by local mu...sician Pete Fodero who played the hottest 50’s hits and special requests. A few residents even showed off their coveted Jitterbug dance moves, with a group of residents declaring this party should be a weekly occurrence!
