Dalton, GA, December 4, 2018-American Floorcovering Alliance (AFA) held its 39th annual meeting on the evening of December 4. The group elected two new board members: Jim Shaheen of Shaheed Carpet Mills and Paul Yacobucci of Piedmont Commercial Carpets. The AFA added five new members in 2018: Carter Custom Carpets, Innovative Automation and Controls, Millennium Mat Company, Piedmont Commercial Carpets and The Dixie Group.... The AFA was formed in 1979 to promote the floorcovering industry. AFA, a not for profit association, promotes the industry’s products and services to the world and educates the members and others through seminars, press releases and trade shows.
