Please join us in wishing our park President, Marvin Tarver, a happy 40th birthday! This man works tirelessly to make sure our ballpark runs smoothly. Most people don’t realize our park is run solely by volunteers. After Marvin works his full time job, he dedicates almost all of his free time to answering phone calls, scheduling games and umpires, cutting grass, flipping burgers, helping coaches, and leading our board. He’s truly one of a kind! Everything he does is for the good of the kids at our park and our wonderful community! We love you and appreciate you so much!

Let’s give a shout out and congratulations to our 12U All Star Team for placing 2nd in the GGBL All Star Championship Tournament this weekend, with 2 big wins over Buford and another against Grayson along the way! Great job of representing the park with your effort and respect all weekend boys! We are very proud of all of you

Shout out to Juan Altamirano of 12 Lions All Star team for hitting a monster big fly in their first tournament of the season today, then appropriately celebrating with a great meal after!! Way to go Juan!!

A huge thank you to Coach Joe and Mrs. Mary for organizing the Sandlot game today. We know everyone had a blast. We’re so thankful for the amazing people in our community who teach these kids the love of baseball!

This week at your first practice, your coach will hand out the information on our spring fundraiser. Each player will get 10 raffle tickets for our Ball Drop! We ask that every player sell their 10 tickets. The cost per ticket is $10. Our top 3 sellers will get half off baseball registration. After opening day ceremonies, all the tickets that were purchased will be spread on the field. Balls will be hit into the field and that’s how our winners will be chosen. We have lots of amazing prizes donated by local businesses and a $500 visa gift card. We will highlight our local sponsors as we get closer to the event. If you need more tickets to sell, just let your coach know and we will get you more! Thanks for helping us keep our park great!

Our 11U Lions played in the Grand Slam Issac Moreno Benefit tournament today. Tyler Meehan hit a 2 run bomb to help lead his team to a victory against ES Baseball. Great job, Tyler!
