Good luck to our own Zoe Porter who is competing today at the Youth America Grand Prix, Atlanta semi-finals. YAGP is the world’s largest student ballet competition. Dancers from around the world compete for scholarships to prestigious schools and companies. Tune in to YAGP’s YouTube channel at 12:10 for the Senior Classical Competition. Zoe performs a classical variation from Raymonda (contestant # 228). At 2:10 for the Senior Contemporary Competition Zoe performs a piece by Lizzie Baker (contestant #255). Thank you to both Elizabeth Fisher and Lizzie Baker for working towards today’s competition and good luck Zoe!

Starting our week off right with some cute little goblins!

Rehearsals for our 23rd annual production of this beloved holiday favorite began in September. We had hopes of expanding our show dates, allowing for social distancing. As of this week, we got the news that we will not be able to have an audience. BUT...the show will go on with a video and live stream and for that we are grateful! Stay tuned for fun photos and other details. Our dancers are the best, and we couldn’t be prouder of them for accepting this not-so-great news with grace and maturity. What a year!!! Come on 2021!

Wishing our friends and families a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

These kiddos were back at the studio every day for the past two weeks. We sanitized, wore masks and practiced social distancing , except for a quick photo or 2. We had a blast with an in-house showing of recital dances for our families. Thanks, parents, for all you did to help us gather and stay safe. We look forward to a virtual Company recital on July 31st at Falany and we hope to have everyone back in the studio in August. Wear your masks and let’s do this!
