Cobb County Championships took place last night and the Marlins came to race We had swimmers achieving personal bests and multiple swimmers placing top 3 in their events. Representing Harrison, Mitch finished in the 200 FR and in the 200 & 400 FR Relays. Representing Kennesaw Mountain, Ben finished in the 200 FR, in the 100 FR, and in the 200 & 400 FR Relays.... Representing Lassiter, Brendan finished in the 200 Medley Relay, in the 100 FR, and in the 100 BR. Adam finished in the 200 Medley Relay and in the 100 FLY. Representing Mount Paran, Emma finished in the 200 & 500 FR. Mitchell finished in the 200 FR and 100 BK. Representing North Cobb, Dane finished in the 200 IM and in the 500 FR. Representing Walton Junior Varsity, Ralph finished in the 200 Medley Relay. Amy finished in the 200 FR, in the 500 FR, and 200 FR Relay. Special shout out to Mitchell, Ben, and Mitch who finished 1-2-3 in the 200 FR! Special shoutout to Mitch and the Harrison boy’s team for placing overall! We greatly appreciate your patience with us as we’re navigating this unprecedented situation. Although MVAC was closed, our swimmers continued to find ways to stay in shape - whether that be in the water and/or out of the water. Julianna, pictured, even made her own endless pool in her neighborhood pool. We are resuming practice this Monday, June 15, 2020. Morning practice, starting at 7:15AM, accommodates the following groups: Giants, Nationals, and High Performan...ce. Afternoon practice, starting at 4:00PM, accommodates the following groups: Developmental, Junior, Giants, Nationals, & High Performance. Unfortunately at this time, Discovery groups will not be coming in. Please refer to the email sent on Monday, June 8, 2020 for lane assignments. Prior to showing up at the pool, please check your email for any updated information. If you do not feel well, please refrain from coming to practice.
