Anti-immigrant groups giving themselves fair sounding names, such as "FAIR," and posing as "think tanks," are actually part of a network of interconnected white supremacist organizations. Everyone involved with immigration has known this for quite a long time, but much of the public doesn't realize that most anti-immigration information and statistics come from actual hate groups.

TLDR; immigrants use less in government services than they add to the economy, and restricting immigration will cost the government (and all of us) far more than it might save.

The restrictive immigration policies of the Trump administration are giving China an advantage in their quest to be the world's technological and economic superpower.

The republican's have made reliable voters out of people who are racist, anti-gay, and anti-other religions. I wonder which group of haters they will pander to next?

He literally made a laughing stock of himself, and then went on to insult and criticize the usual suspects Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and particularly Iran but he also attacked China, the 15-nation Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, the 164-nation World Trade Organization, the U.N. Human Rights Council, Germany, the International Criminal Court, socialist countries (what did the Scandinavians ever do to him?), and the United Nations’ two-month-old Global Compact on Migration. He threatened recipients of U.S. foreign aid almost all of South America, Africa, Eastern Europe and South Asia and reiterated his vow to cut payments for peacekeeping.

Trump can clearly get away with lying to his voters, but the lies don't go over so well with world leaders. He literally made himself a laughing stock before the world, and then went on to tell lie after lie to people who know he is lying.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blasted Democrats on the eve of a hearing featuring an accuser of Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh, saying they were dragging him and his family right through the mud. Yep. Right through the mud of his numerous sexual assaults of women. Now there are three accusers. Republican leadership seems offended that Democrats want to hold sexual predators accountable. Apparently the party of "law and order" only wants the law to be strictly applied to people who are not upper class white men.

There is a LOT of research showing the economic benefits of immigration. But evidence doesn't seem to affect the opinions of people who don't like immigrants. Why do you think that is?
