If someone has the same diagnosis they don’t present the same, so it’s a challenge to figure out what’s best for that patient at that time. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life or working anywhere else. Activekidz has an attendance policy in place to monitor and ensure that patients regularly attend their scheduled appointments for an overall successful therapy program. We realize emergencies and other scheduling conflicts arise and are sometimes unavoidable. However, it is expected that patients attend 75% of their scheduled sessions per the Attendance Policy. Scheduling at Activekidz is different from other medical offices in that for therapy sessions, we never overbook ...or overlap appointments. We only schedule one-on-one 30 or 60 minute treatments. Missed appointments are a significant inconvenience not only to your progress in therapy, but to the clinic and other patients. We ask for as much notice as possible if you or your child needs to cancel or reschedule. We greatly appreciate the advanced notice as this will allow us to accommodate other families that are seeking our care! Ask your therapist if teletherapy is an option for you in the event that a conflict arises. Thank you!
