Acupuncture Works will reopen eventually, but not yet. We are looking forward to seeing you after the confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths in Georgia have declined for a couple of weeks at least. As of April 22, 2020, that decline has not occurred. Depending on the situation, we may reopen at the earliest in in mid- to late May 2020. In the meantime, we are making additional safety preparations according to strict guidelines. With the current COVID-19 outbreak potentially affecting millions of people around the world, holistic medicine has a lot to offer. As both a licensed acupuncture practitioner/herbalist *and* a PhD holder in the biological sciences who previously worked in drug development, I have a lot of information that can help you and your loved ones to stay safe.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: In light of the changing situation regarding COVID-19 transmission, we closed on March 13, 2020 and will be closed until March 24, 2020 at the earliest. CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: So far, there have been no issues at Acupuncture Works. Out of consideration for others, please do not come into the office if you have any respiratory symptoms, a fever of 99 degrees F or higher, or pink eye (noted as an early symptom in some cases of the outbreak in Italy). I will do the same. All late cancellation fees are waived in case of illness. Please do not bring children in at this time, since they could carry illness asymptomatically. We are disinfecting everything and looking forward to seeing you otherwise.

This is an Italian study, but I suspect the findings would be similar in the some areas of the States.
