For worship this morning we joined with Walthourville Presbyterian Church. Surely the presence of the Lord was in this place!

Tomorrow's worship will be held at the historic Walthourville Presbyterian Church at 11am! There will also be a potluck luncheon to follow the service to be held outside under the oak trees. If you will be using GPS to find the church you can enter the following address: 10893 Tibet Hwy Allenhurst, GA.

This Sunday we will be holding our worship service at the historic Walthourville Presbyterian Church. Come join us as we gather together for WPC's annual homecoming gathering! There will be a potluck luncheon held under the oak trees following the service, so bring a dish and stay for lunch too!

Due to the rain this morning and more that is expected we are cancelling today's church workday.

Souper Bowl of Caring is a national campaign that works to mobilize those looking to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the Super Bowl. APC is once again joining in support by taking up donations for Manna House, that helps to feed the hungry in our community. This year, due to the pandemic and our virtual worship services, you can help by sending in your donations to APC at PO Box 304, Allenhurst, GA 31301. We also will be taking up canned food donations. There is a drop box outside the Fellowship Hall that you can place your donations in by this weekend. We will then get your donations to Manna House. Thank you in advance for helping to feed the hungry in our area through your support of the Souper Bowl of Caring and Manna House!

Memorial Service for Dave Sapp.

The memorial service for David Sapp will be tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 29) at 11am behind the Fellowship Hall. We are asking that everyone wear face masks and practice social distancing.

APC is saddened over the passing of, a beloved member and Ruling Elder of our church, David Sapp. Dave was kind and generous, and had a great sense of humor, he will be greatly missed. Please keep his family and his loving companion Linda Riggs in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve Dave's passing. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 May our church, and all those grieving find strength through our Lord in the days ahead. Amen!

Please be in prayer for the Troha family as beloved church member Robert Troha passed away early this morning, after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer's disease. Robert was a good man, who would do anything for anybody. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Our collective hearts go out to the Troha family, as we grieve Robert's passing. We especially pray for God's peace that passes all understanding to be with all those who loved and knew Robert. Jesus said, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." Thanks be to God!

Join us for World Communion Sunday! Pastor Ben will be preaching on what it means to be "Tenant Farmers Working for the Lord."
