Message: Greetings Angie Mamma's, I recently received both jars of the champagne jelly but have only opend the pink thus far and it's awesome. Not too sweet, no to thick, it's just right. When it arrived in the custom box I was initially taken aback because of the liquid atop, however once I opened the cute designer jar, the aromatics from the champagne hit my nose and opened my palate. My first thought was... Am I suppose to drink it or stir it up, so I did both... lol. I... sipped a little then stirred it up and enjoyed it with my meal. As a person who enjoys 'sweet meat', I added a bit to a fried chicken wing and it was damn right good. Next day I tried it on a hot peanut butter and jelly sandwich and it was AMAZING. Not suitable for the babies but perfect for an adult with sophisticated taste buds. Didn't get me drunk but definitely has a punch. This is such a great idea and I really enjoy it. Happy to share my experience with the world. It's just that good! In celebration of America’s very first Lady Vice-President, I decided to dedicate this recipe to our VP-elect, Kamala Harris. In her Victory Speech, Kamala wore white as a ‘Symbolic Gesture’ for Women Suffragette. Her attire and speech and invoked suffragists and women who made history before her and I for one am delighted and honored that she would think of all women around the world and thought these ‘Lady Fingers’ are a fitting add to my recipe catalog.
