Then snap a picture, laminate it, put the picture in a place w...here others will see it like at a urinal or share it with the next shift at change of tours. Could be placed in pre-plan book as well. Pick high hazard or unique buildings in your area. This was taken at a 17 story Fireproof Class 1 building. Company 12 - Paris on Ponce fire 11/27/19 C-shift @ Little Five Points

Today we remember Fire Fighter Steven Solomon Engine ...& Ladder Company 16 Died on November 29, 2006 of Injuries Received On November 23, 2006 Thanksgiving night companies responded to a report of a structure fire located at 257 Elm St. NW. Companies arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a 1 story wood frame vacant structure. Company 16 along with other 1st. alarm companies on scene made an aggressive offensive attack. The fire conditions rapidly changed, trapping fire fighter Steven Solomon inside. He was removed within minutes, and transported to Grady Hospital with severe burns. Firefighter Steven Solomon succumbed to his injuries early in the morning on November 29.

Yesterday Engine 13 C-Shift along with E- 12, 18 T-1, 10, 12 Squad 4, Air 7, Battalion 5, 3 had a working fire on a 50x150 church. An aggressive interior attack resulted in saving this early 1970 church. Great work by all companies working this fire!

Here’s another tool for the ol’ toolbox. We stole this idea after seeing it on @fireengineering in a video featuring @ltmikeciampo. Some wedge packs have been added to the equipment cache on Truck 12 here in Atlanta. These will come in handy when throwing ladders on uneven surfaces. You can use any combination of the 4x4, 2x4, and wedge that are roped together in order to level out the ground so the ladder won’t slip or slide to the right or left. Also use the irons if you need to hit the wedges into place and/or stabilize the wedges once they’re in place.
