Smoothing out the ridge to the left of the insert hole. It was sharper before and I think it caused the plastic to loop over itself rather than flow. The loop formed a tunnel from the interior of the tank to the insert. Inserts must be fully encapsulated or they leak. Hopefully finish this tomorrow and mount up HM69 mold and run a bake Wed or Thursday.

Been a while since the MTS tank mold saw action. Had to install the new "21" date dial arrow in it.

FYI we're closed this week. But Tuesday, Chris is going in to see how many orders we can ship.

We have 8 FWIRES. Two are for shops only (they need the terminals for the sealed connector put back on). Six are for anyone else. The ThreeBond engineer was confident about 1184's applicability in this application. We had an area sales rep and two department level people: a manager and an engineer. Next to come up with a solution for the 160+ FWIRES sets I get to solder again. They said the 1184 can be used as void fill but that's not as desirable as when there is a tight f...it. If we do "just pour" it in, we need to go like 1/4 inch at a time and let it cure and come back to repeat. At least I came up with a great method of cleaning the parts: MRC, metering roller cleaner. It got the aluminum sleeves in this pic so "dry" it was difficult to wipe off excess.

Will it blend? Apparently not 4 pounds of black, 5.5 of white. Maybe if I really blended the bucket before putting it in the mold? Nah, would still be marbled but from far away might almost look gray.
