Cadillac Jaguar of Northlake

This 2019 Cadillac CTS 2.0L turbo charged car drove through a very large puddle of water during a torrential downpour. After removing all the spark plugs and attempting to turn the engine manually, we learned it would only turn one direction. Once the car was in the air we could see the engine block had two holes in it most likely caused by a broken connecting rod. You can see the damage in these pictures... Thankfully our customer had a great insurance company that covered the cost of replacing the engine. Note to self, stay clear of huge puddles!

We had a wonderful third Christmas breakfast with all of the other motor heads we call family! We’re so grateful for our amazing customers, wonderful friends and the Tucker community for supporting our small business these past 27 years! May 2021 be the best year ever and better than 2020!

With all the rain we’ve been having, make sure you check the tread life on your tires. Your tires also have a manufacture date on them that can help you know how long you’ve had the tires. Sometimes your tread looks good but under a bright light you may notice dry rot.
