Huge congratulations to our very own Bevin Bithell who was just awarded the Richard G. Scobee Memorial award! The Richard G. Scobee Memorial award was first awarded to an orthoptic student in 1978. This national recognition continues to be awarded to the orthoptist who receives the highest combined written and oral score on the orthoptic certifying boards each year. We are so impressed by her and the rest of our great team! Thank you, thank you!!

Congratulations to our very own Mariah Akles for receiving the Certificate of Professional Development from MiSight! "MiSight is the cornerstone of a comprehensive myopia management approach. MiSight 1 day is a daily wear, single use contact lens that has been clinically proven and FDA-approved to slow the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) when initially prescribed for children 8-12 years old." My name is Taylor Stumpf, and I recently graduated from the University of Georgia, where I studied Biology and Spanish. I am almost always talking about my puppy Jax. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking and eating Mexican food with friends. You can find me cheering for the Dawgs every Saturday! Jenny: Hey, my name is Jenny. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology this May. In my free time, you can find me listening to music, hanging out at the park with my dog, or eating Mexican food with my friends. My favorite place to visit in Atlanta is Ponce City Market. Bevin comes to us from the Ida Iacobucci Orthoptic Fellowship at the University of Michigan, where she studied to become an Orthoptist!
