The Griffin Police Department is happy to announce that Sgt. Kaylen Krueger was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on November 30, 2020. Lt Krueger began her career at the Griffin Police Department in May of 2008 and has worked Patrol, Crime Suppression, Traffic, and Juvenile Investigations, is a K-8 handler and currently supervises the Special Investigations Unit and The Criminal Apprehension Gang Enforcement unit. (C.A.G.E.). She is a member of The Griffin Police Department SWAT Team having successfully completed a rigorous training program to become a member of that team. Please help us congratulate Lt. Krueger on her achievements.

In November, we posted about the box where children's letters to Santa could be deposited. We're happy to announce that those letters have been safely delivered to the North Pole. Santa was very busy and we didn't get to talk to him about the letters, but the Elf we left them with seemed very competent and promised to put them directly in to Santa's hand. We did see Rudolph practicing take off and landings though. His nose really is red!
