Georgia Rental Assistance Program Relief Funding: On March 8, DCA will open its online portal for utility customers, landlords, and tenants to apply for relief through the Georgia Rental Assistance Program. DCA is administering federal funds that were provided to the State of Georgia to help residents unable to pay rent and utilities due to COVID-19. Only 12 cities and counties with population over 200,000 received direct allocations; the rest will be eligible through the DCA GRAP. Landlords may apply for multiple properties in one application. Full information about eligibility and technical assistance can be found on DCA’s website at https://www.dca.ga.gov/safe-affor/rental-housing-assistance
