Columbus Speech and Hearing Center (Columbus, Georgia) 26.09.2020

ATTENTION ALL CSHC SPEECH-PATHOLOGY PATIENTS: We are so proud to announce that beginning Monday March 23, 2020, all speech-language pathology appointments will be conducted via telemedicine. Your therapist will be contacting you and walking you through the initial set up. You can even do it through your cell phone! This will be a great adventure for us to experience together. I cannot brag on your therapists enough. They are a loyal, excellent, self-less, and INNOVATIVE bu...nch who care for you deeply. Can't wait to "see" you next week! Our phones will continue to be answered here at the clinic, so call if any problems or questions. The whole team is ready for you. 706-324-6112. ATTENTION ALL CSHC AUDIOLOGY PATIENTS AND VETERANS: We are continuing to see audiology patients live, in person, here at the office, with significant changes to our waiting room policy. Beginning Monday March 23, 2020, you will check in with our front office, and then wait outside in your vehicles until your normal appointment time. Only the patient will be allowed into the building. ATTENTION ALL CSHC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PATIENTS (AND LOVERS OF GUS THE OT DOG): As of Monday March 23, 2020, all occupational therapy appointments will be conducted via telemedicine. If you have questions, call our office or email Caitlyn Barfield ([email protected]) We've got this guys!! And it feels good to get a little control back in this whirlwind we are all in together. See you next week, whether it is in person or through the computer.

You’ve met RC the hippotherapy horse. Now meet Gus, the certified therapy dog. Gus and James had a blast today! Gus LOVES his job and LOVES kids. Many patients will interact with animals before they interact with adults. Gus is one of occupational therapist Caitlyn Barfield’s many tools to get kids involved in therapy. Kids don’t even realize they’re working hard on therapy goals when they’re hanging out with Gus. Stop by and tell Gus what a good boy he is!
