10 out of 10 zombies prefer Athena Zombie, the official beer of this year's Wild Rumpus! Cheers to a spooky weekend!
Join us today for a Halloween treat, My Very Own Mole! My Very Own Mole is an imperial stout (11%) with chilis, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, pecans, vanilla beans, benne seeds, & hoja santa. This stout is an exploration into the complex world of culinary-influenced ingredients, specifically with the desire to recreate the native Mexican dish Mole. Please enjoy our very own mole!
Tune in to learn more about the making of our latest bottle release, Spritz, led by Blake Tyers, our Wood Cellar & Mixed Fermentation Director.
What better way to start the weekend than with a 16oz Trop? #TropMoment
Last week, we celebrated the end of a 2020 Get Artistic season unlike any other! The night was made extra special with live music from Emily Hearn and Chris Coleman, a delicious Get Artistic Berliner Weisse pairing from The National, and a fun Virtual Photo Booth from Sound Insight. Thank you to our business partners and everyone who has already contributed to this year's campaign to meet the needs of our local arts community. Learn how to get involved at Getcurious.com
Lookout for our Athena Paradiso with blackberries and blackcurrants early November! The gentle tartness and subtle sweetness of the blackberries and blackcurrants perfectly complement the base beer, Athena.
Art is back in the CCBC Gallery! Local artist David Hale's exhibition, Hope, celebrates his brand new mural created in honor of AthFest Music & Arts Festival, located behind our taproom on the building shared by our neighbors Epiphany Athens and The Rook & Pawn. The artist is generously donating 50% of sales from the exhibition to the Get Artistic fund, supporting the program's 2020 community partners. Check out the mural and the art show next time you come to the brewery! Learn more at GetCurious.com.
Mole is a regional and personal dish that reflects a true sense of the land, the ingredients, and the people. When we set out to create this mole-inspired stout, we consulted with local chef Maricela Vega to focus on ingredients local to us while also honoring this traditional dish. Pre-purchase on Oznr today for pick-up on 10/31!
