Dr. Fisher organizes and does-Free Dentistry for Needy Kids, as a part of the Pierre Fauchard Academy- an Elite International Dental Honor Society, for 10+ years. Today is Pierre Fauchard’s BirthdayFather of Modern Dentistry! Our entire family enjoys helping and making a positive difference for these kids and their families each year, in counties throughout Georgia.

We are so proud of Dr. Fisher. She gets her award and recognition from the American College of Dentists today at 2:30pm. Her Ethical Standards, Professionalism, Excellence in Dentistry, and Leadership/Mentoring makes her deserving of this Prestigious Award. We will try to record the ceremony and then show it here later. WE ARE SOOO EXCITED!!

Dr. Fisher gives back to her community, the state and overseas. As part of a National effort by the American Dental Association Dr. Fisher has Planned, Coordinated, Participated, and Recruited other dental teams to provide free dental services for the underserved. This Passion and Commitment to Volunteerism is another reason why she is so deserving of this great recognition and award of fellowship by the American College of Dentists. In these unprecedented times, we are extremely thankful to our heroes, our first responders- in healthcare, grocery stores, firefighters, etc... Our sincere thanks to all! Dental Labor Facts... In 1840, the first dental college (Baltimore College of Dental Surgery) opened, establishing the need for more oversight. In the United States, Alabama led the way by enacting the first dental practice act in 1841, and nearly 20 years later, the American Dental Association (ADA) was formed. The first university-affiliated dental institution, the Harvard University Dental School, was founded in 1867.
