Seating Change for Sunday Morning Worship First, thank you for the kindness, patience, and support you have shown throughout this past year. There is not a playbook for how to deal with a pandemic and we all continue to adjust the best we can. Your teamwork and great attitude through this trial has been greatly appreciated! Seating Change Beginning this Sunday the social distancing pew barriers (little crosses on strings) will be removed on the organ side of the church sa...nctuary. For those of you who do not desire to social distance, you are free to sit how you would like on the organ side. On the piano side of the church sanctuary the pew barriers will remain up for now. We currently have a significant portion of our church family who desires to social distance. The consensus of those I have spoken with is that we would all like to be able to take barriers down and get back to normal as soon as possible. However, we have family in high-risk groups. Some who due to medical reasons cannot take the vaccine. The most loving and gracious thing we can do is keep some socially distanced seating open for the vulnerable. The hope is that this will not be permanent. Thank you for understanding. While I have your attention, there is a great ministry opportunity that is available for you this Sunday night at 6pm. I would like to invite you to the Children’s Choir performance and picnic. Even if you do not have a child or grandchild in this event, would you come for the specific purpose of having conversations with someone new and building a new relationship? Would you be intentional about leading that conversation toward spiritual things and inviting that person to our church? Much of our ministry happens through building relationships. Social distanced seating There will be a change in seating for this choir event to accommodate the number of people who have signed up to come and due to the presence of children and young families. The seating area will be reduced for this event to the back half of the piano side of the sanctuary.

We welcome Seth Despres as our new Student Minister. Please pray for and support him as he begins his ministry at First Baptist Church. Seth will lead the youth group tonight at 5:30. All middle and high school students are invited to come.

Harvest Day 2020

Harvest Day is this Sunday at First Baptist Church of Louisville. Our guest preacher is Thomas Hammond, Executive Director/CEO, Georgia Baptist Mission Board. He will speak on Characteristics of Difference Makers from Mark 2:1-12. This sermon will kick-off a new sermon series on personal evangelism entitled "Impact." Please join us for our annual homecoming celebration.
